A trade quality 'workhorse' brush incorporating a blend of synthetic filaments and natural bristle with full bodied head for excellent paint pick-up and release.
Ideal for all paints including water-based emulsions (eg. matt, silk, eggshell) and solvent-based gloss and satin, as well as woodstains and varnishes.
Mix of high quality natural bristle and pure synthetic filaments combines durability with a trade finish.
Full bodied head for optimum paint holding gets the job done quicker.
Ideal as an everyday, 'workhorse' brush that won't let you down.

Featuring a full bodied head for optimum paint holding, Trade Pro is a versatile, professional mixed bristle paint and varnish brush that combines the best qualities of synthetic bristles with high quality natural black bristle, set in a rust-resistant, stainless steel ferrule. Ideally first used with water-based emulsion paints such as matt, silk and eggshell, the synthetic bristles give a trade quality finish while the natural bristle gives the brush superb durability and 'breaks in' over time. As it breaks in, the tips naturally wear down and the ends split to give a soft, brush mark-free finish, making it ideal for gloss and satin paints as well.

Natural & synthetic bristle mix - Giving the best of both worlds, Trade Pro combines the durability and high paint holding capacity of quality natural black bristle with the fine finish of synthetic filaments.
Trade quality full bodied head - Trade Pro holds the optimum amount of paint, maximising each stroke and reducing the rate at which you need to reload, for more efficient painting to get the job done quicker.
Excellent with emulsion paints - Puts down the right amount of paint that is easily worked out to give excellent coverage. Professionals traditionally break a new black bristle brush in with emulsion paint.

Remember to select your brush size based on the task. Here's a quick guide to how professional decorators most often choose:
0.5" (12mm) for detail work and hard to reach areas.
1" (25mm) for small jobs and touch-up work.
1.5" (38mm) for architrave, skirting, panels, window frames and furniture.
2" (50mm) for cutting in edges on walls and ceilings, doors, cabinets and railings.
2.5" (63mm) for cutting in edges on walls and ceilings, doors and cabinets.
3" (75mm) for cutting in edges on walls and ceilings, wide trim, fascia boards and steps.
4" (100mm) for fast coverage of larger areas and laying off (smoothing) rolled gloss paints.
